The back is just bad.

The first Mazda3 hatch was fantastic, but it’s been visually and functionally downhill since then. Such a shame.

Would get the sedan

More pics. Looks real sharp just like the kai concept. That C pillar though :/
![]() 11/27/2018 at 20:03 |

The only logical way to fix the * t h i c c* C-pillar is to offer it as a wagon.
Do it, Mazda.
![]() 11/27/2018 at 20:06 |

The C pillar is awful.
![]() 11/27/2018 at 20:06 |

Or just get the sedan.
![]() 11/27/2018 at 20:07 |

Good dammit. I might need to buy that car.
![]() 11/27/2018 at 20:07 |

that interior tho
![]() 11/27/2018 at 20:08 |

Jesus.... I might just need to buy one.
Manual, with the HCCI engine.
*sweats*

Is that not the same, just with the tablet’s visibility obscured?
![]() 11/27/2018 at 20:10 |
|
Just make sure you get the Blind Spot Monitoring
![]() 11/27/2018 at 20:11 |

And everyone wonders why blacked C-pillars and dlo fails are a thing. I appreciate Mazda for being honest in the design but I hope they dont forget that online perception and real world reception are very different markets.

It’s very premium. Better than anything else in its segment.
![]() 11/27/2018 at 20:14 |

I’ve trained all my life to handle huge blindspots
![]() 11/27/2018 at 20:14 |

You’re all set then.

!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!

It’s VERY Whizzkid in profile, I like the looks but personall y wouldn’t be able to deal with the cave inside.

I this was a joke. Saddly it is not.
![]() 11/27/2018 at 20:24 |

Oh
wow. That’s bad. The front 3/4 are promising but from the rear door handle back... no thanks.
![]() 11/27/2018 at 20:31 |

I love it.
![]() 11/27/2018 at 20:38 |

Good news, it’s already on sale!
![]() 11/27/2018 at 20:49 |

Yeah not a fan of the rear side on the hatch...nor the flattened/cut off wheel arches. But at least they'll make fitting the arch extensions easy!!
![]() 11/27/2018 at 20:57 |

The hatchback looks like it was designed with the sole purpose of being easi er to jam up your butt when shrunken down to Hot Wheels size.
![]() 11/27/2018 at 20:59 |

Problem solved. Just $1.00 at your local Autozone.
![]() 11/27/2018 at 21:06 |

No.
![]() 11/27/2018 at 21:43 |

Come on bruh.
![]() 11/27/2018 at 21:47 |

Excuse me, the CX-3's interior, but with the tablet obscured, my bad.
![]() 11/27/2018 at 21:53 |

Sportcross actually had a D-pillar and a 3rd window
![]() 11/27/2018 at 21:55 |

I kind of forgot that the Eclipse was just the Cross. I wasn’t comparing this excrement to automotive excellence.
![]() 11/27/2018 at 21:59 |

Oh, that’s good. I was like, “Hmm, my car getting called out is
fair game on the internet
... but
I think he’s thinking of the Lancer Sportback, because I definitely can see out of my car and have a D-pillar.”
![]() 11/27/2018 at 22:02 |

I like your mk4 golf interior.
![]() 11/27/2018 at 22:15 |

Still holds up
![]() 11/27/2018 at 22:15 |
|
A gree... not a popular opinion currently, but that looks sexy as heck. We sure don’t need another goofy “flying roof”.

Ahem , its Pillars C thru F.
